Multi-room venues

Big building, several stages? Add rooms to your venue — each with

its own name, capacity, and stage description — and booking slots target

a room, not just the building. The room shows on the slot, on the

booking form, and on the venue page.

Adding rooms

  1. Open Edit venue profile on your venue page and scroll to

Rooms.

  1. Enter the room's name (e.g. `Main Hall`), capacity,

stage (e.g. `24′ × 16′`), and any notes.

  1. Click Add room. Remove one with Remove (with confirm).

Booking a room

When you add a single slot on the venue calendar, pick the room from

the Room dropdown. Bands see the room name on the slot, in the day

detail, and on the booking form before they confirm. Slots without a

room are just booked as "the venue."

What happens when a room is deleted

Slots that pointed at the room keep their dates and bookings — the

room link is simply cleared, so nothing is ever lost. The room itself

disappears from the venue page and future slot forms.

Tips

  • Give rooms distinct capacities and stage sizes so bands can tell at a

glance which room fits their production.

  • If two rooms run simultaneously, make sure their slots don't share a

sound tech in real life — the site won't stop you double-booking your

crew.

FAQ

Do blackouts and curfews apply per room or per venue?

Per venue. If one room closes but another stays open, don't black out

the date — just don't create slots for the closed room.
