Venue calendar embed

Put your live MusicXen show calendar on your own website with one snippet. It stays up to date automatically — book a show here, it appears there.

How to get the code

  1. Open your venue page → Embed Calendar (`/venues/<id>/embed-code`). You must manage the venue to see this.
  2. Copy the `<iframe>` snippet.
  3. Paste it into your website's HTML where you want the calendar.

Customizing

  • Height: change `height="600"` to fit your page; `width="100%"` fills its container.
  • Months: add `&months=6` to the src URL to show six months instead of three (1–12 allowed).
  • The embed is read-only and public: it lists confirmed upcoming shows with dates, bands, and cover prices, in the 2011 MusicXen style. No login, no booking — visitors click through to MusicXen for that.

Tips

  • The snippet works on any site that allows iframes (WordPress, Squarespace, plain HTML).
  • Preview it on the embed page before publishing — what you see there is exactly what your visitors get.

Troubleshooting

My site stripped the iframe. Some site builders (looking at you, certain page editors) remove iframes in "text" mode — paste it in the HTML/code block instead.

The calendar is empty. It shows confirmed upcoming shows only. Proposed or past gigs don't appear.

I want booking on my site too. The embed is display-only by design. Link the calendar title to your MusicXen venue page for booking.
