Advance vs door pricing

A show has two price fields so fans know what waiting costs:

  • Door price — the cover charge at the door (the existing

"cover price" field).

  • Advance price — the cheaper pre-sale price.

Both live in Manage this show → Save show details (band admins and

venue managers). The show page renders them as "Advance $10 · Door

$15"; if only one is set, just that one shows. Leave both blank for

free shows — don't type "Free" in the price box; a blank price reads

cleaner on the poster.

Tips

  • A real advance/door split ("$10 advance, $15 door") is the single

best nudge for pre-sales — fans can see the savings at a glance.

so keep them short ("$10", "$10 adv / $15 door" fits; a paragraph

doesn't).

Troubleshooting

  • The price shows on the page but not the poster. The poster

renders the same fields — hard-refresh the poster page; browsers

cache printed pages aggressively.
