"Looking for" banner

The "looking for" banner is a highlighted box at the top of your profile

announcing what you're after — a drummer, a band to join, session work, a

bass player for weekends. It hides itself automatically after the expiry date

you set, so stale ads don't linger.

How to set one

  1. Go to Edit profile.
  2. Under "Currently looking for", type what you're looking for in one line

(e.g. "Drummer for a weekend classic-rock cover band").

  1. Pick an expiry date, or leave it blank to keep the banner up until you

remove it yourself.

  1. Click Save profile.

To take the banner down, clear the text field and save.

Tips

  • Be specific: "Blues drummer, weekends, SLC area" gets better replies than

"drummer wanted".

  • Set an expiry date for anything time-sensitive (auditions, dep slots) so

people don't message you about last month's gig.

  • Your "looking for" text shows in your press kit too.

Troubleshooting / FAQ

  • My banner disappeared. It expired. Edit your profile and set a new

expiry date (or leave it blank).

  • Can I have more than one banner? One at a time — rewrite the text to

cover both needs, or pick the more urgent one.

  • Who can see it? Anyone who can see your profile. It's a public

announcement, not a private note.
