Blocking & reporting

Blocking

Someone's profile → Block stops them instantly:

  • They can't message you, post on your wall, or send friend/follow requests.
  • Their profile becomes invisible to you — and yours to them.
  • They disappear from your musician directory, finder results, and the

message compose contacts.

Blocking is instant and private — no queue, no review needed. Unblock

any time from the same profile.

Reporting

Someone's profile → Report flags them for the human moderation team:

  • Pick a category: spam, harassment, scam/fraud, impersonation,

inappropriate content, concern about a minor, or other.

  • Add details — what happened, when. You can attach a specific message as

context.

  • A moderator reviews every report. Reporting is for the staff to act on;

blocking is for stopping them right now. Use both if you need to.

What moderators can do

  • Dismiss — the report didn't check out.
  • Warn — a strike on their record (escalates: warning → 1-hour mute →

24-hour mute → 7-day mute → ban).

  • Suspend — a flat 7-day mute.
  • Ban — the account is deactivated.

You'll get a notification when a report you filed is resolved.
