Selling merch
Sell shirts, stickers, CDs, and more right on your band page. Fans
buy online, you ship the orders, and you keep 85% of every sale —
the platform takes a 15% fee.
For bands: set up your store
- Connect Stripe (one time): open your band's Merch dashboard
and click Connect with Stripe. Stripe walks you through a
quick onboarding (bank account, tax info). After that, your 85%
lands in your bank automatically — no manual payouts.
- Add products: on your band's Merch page, add products with a
name, price, photo, and stock count. Set stock to 0 for unlimited
(e.g. digital downloads).
- Share your merch link — fans buy from your band page.
For fans: buying merch
- Open the band's Merch page.
- Set quantities, fill in your shipping address, and check out.
- You'll get an order confirmation page. The band ships your order
and marks it shipped — you'll see the status update.
Fulfilling orders (bands)
Open your Merch dashboard to see all orders. Orders marked Paid
are ready to ship — pack them up, then click Mark shipped.
Revenue totals show your gross, the platform fee, and your 85%
payout.
Deleting products
Products with no paid orders can be deleted outright. Products that
already sold are deactivated instead (so past order records stay
accurate) — they disappear from the store but remain in order
history.
Money flow
- Fan pays the full price at checkout via Stripe.
- Stripe automatically sends 85% to the band's connected account
and 15% to the platform. No manual payouts, ever.
- Until the band connects Stripe, checkout shows a notice and
sales are paused — connect first, then sell.
Tips
- Good photos sell merch: use a plain background and show the
actual product.
- Keep stock counts accurate — overselling means awkward emails.
- Digital items (albums, stems): set stock to unlimited (0).
Troubleshooting
"Online payments aren't set up yet" — the band hasn't connected
Stripe. Band admins: open the Merch dashboard and connect.
"Only X left" — someone bought the last ones before you checked
out. Lower the quantity and try again.
