Graphic artists

Find a designer for your band — logos, flyers, album art, merch — and send an inquiry with a built-in design brief.

Finding an artist

Open Artists in the nav and filter by:

  • Project type — logo, flyer, album art, merch
  • Max starting price — in dollars; artists who list no price are excluded when you set this
  • Max turnaround — in days; artists who list no turnaround still show
  • Search — matches specialties and project types

Each artist card shows project types, the starting price, typical turnaround, and how many portfolio pieces they have up.

Portfolios

An artist's page groups their portfolio by project type. Each piece has a title and description; click through to the full-size image. Artists upload pieces from Artist profile settings (png/jpg/webp/gif, up to 8MB) and remove them any time.

Design brief builder

The inquiry form on an artist's page includes a structured brief:

  • Your message — what you need and when
  • Style references — links or descriptions of the look you want, one per line
  • Text / copy — the words that must appear (band name, date, venue…)
  • Sizes / formats — e.g. "11x17 print, 1080x1080 social"

Send it and the artist gets your message plus the full brief in their inquiry inbox (`/settings/artist/inquiries`), where they can mark it new / replied / declined. You'll get a notification when the status changes.

Listing yourself as an artist

Go to `/settings/artist`: specialties, project types you take, external portfolio URL, starting price, and typical turnaround days. Upload portfolio pieces below the form.

FAQ

Does MusicXen handle payment for design work? No — arrange payment directly with the artist.

Can I attach files to my brief? Not yet — paste links into the style-references field.

I don't see my portfolio image? The upload runs immediately; check the file is a supported image type under 8MB.
