Comp Tickets, Guest Lists & Promo Codes

Free tickets and door management for the show team — band members, venue

staff, booking agents, and promoters.

Comp (free) tickets

Anyone on the show team can hand out free tickets:

1. Open the show's ticket page and click "Comp tickets, guest list & promos".
2. Enter the recipient's name (email optional), how many, and which tier.
3. Each comp gets a real QR code — it scans at the door exactly like a

paid ticket, including the rotating anti-screenshot code.

Comps are free: no payment, no 15% platform split. You can cancel an

unredeemed comp any time; once it's scanned, it's done.

Guest list

One guest list per show, managed from the same team page:

• Add a name with party size and optional notes.
• Bulk add — paste lines like `Alex Rivera, 2` (party size optional).
• Check in at the door with one tap; undo if you make a mistake.
• The venue door page shows the guest list for each show with

check-off buttons, plus how many heads are in vs. expected.

Promo code batches (radio giveaways etc.)

For partners like radio stations and sponsors:

1. On the team page, generate a batch — name it (e.g. "X96 Morning

Show"), pick a quantity and tier.

1. Download the CSV and send the codes to your partner.
2. Listeners go to /promo/redeem, enter their code + name — no

account needed — and get a ticket with a QR code instantly.

Codes are single-use and unguessable. Redemption is rate-limited, and the

page never says whether a code was invalid or already used (so nobody can

fish for live codes). Every redeemed code becomes a real scannable ticket.

Show team: agents, promoters, managers (v0.45.1)

Venues and bands each keep their own roster of booking agents, promoters

(and managers, for bands):

• Venue page → "Agents & Promoters" (venue managers only): add someone

by username as a booking agent or promoter. They're automatically added

to every new show's team at that venue.

• Band page → "Agents" tab (band admins only): add booking agents,

promoters, or managers. From any show's team page, add them to that

show's team with one click — or add anyone by username.

• Show team page lists everyone: who they are, their role, and whether

they were auto-added (venue) or added manually (and by whom).

Show team members get the same permissions as the band and venue staff:

issuing comp tickets, managing the guest list, and generating promo code

batches.
