Band roles & permissions

Band members have roles that decide what they can do. An Admin on the

band can change anyone's role from the Admin tab (or the role form on

the Members tab).

When you create a band you're an Admin. If you're a MusicXen admin you're

treated as an Admin on every band.

Members don't have to quit to take a break. An Admin can put a member **on

hiatus** — they're kept on the roster with their history intact, but they

don't count as active: no poll votes, no settlement shares. Bring them back

anytime from the hiatus section of the Members tab.

If the same member is in two bands, those bands are **automatically

linked on each other's Members** tab under "Related bands" — no manual

work needed.
