Booking reminders & notifications

MusicXen has no email, so every booking reminder is in-app. They

live in the Notifications center (the bell in the top nav shows

your unread count).

Automatic reminders

When a booking is confirmed, reminders are scheduled for both sides

— the band's admins, bookers, and treasurers, plus the venue's managers:

  • 7 days before the show.
  • Day of the show.

Your upcoming reminders are listed at the top of the Notifications

page. Reminders are created once per person and never duplicated, even

if the booking page is opened many times.

What else lands in Notifications

  • Proposal approved / declined.
  • Soft hold placed, released, or expired.
  • Counter-offer sent, accepted, or declined.
  • Contract signed by the other side.
  • Booking cancelled — plus backup call-outs: if a confirmed or held

booking cancels, bands on the venue's backup list with a matching date

or genre get pinged about the opening.

Open a notification's View link to jump to the booking, and use

Mark all read to clear the badge.
