Venue profile completeness

Bands decide whether to pitch your room in about ten seconds. The

venue profile holds everything a booker needs to say yes: capacity,

stage size, PA and backline, load-in door width, pay, curfew, and

genres. The Profile X/8 badge on your venue page shows how much of

it you've filled in — complete profiles get more (and better-matched)

booking requests.

Filling in your profile

  1. Open your venue page and click Edit venue profile (owners and

managers only), or go to your venue's Calendar → Manage slots

→ Edit venue profile.

  1. Work through the sections:
  • Basics — capacity, phone, the genres you book, and genres you

will never book.

  • Stage & sound — stage width/depth in feet, whether a house PA

is provided, what backline is there, load-in door width in inches,

sound curfew, and any dB noise limit.

  • Typical pay — how you usually pay (guarantee, door deal, door +

guarantee, percentage of bar) plus the typical payout range.

  • Load-in instructions — parking, door code, elevator, and notes.

These are shown to bands on their confirmed bookings.

  1. Click Save venue profile.

What the badge means

Each of the 8 items is either filled or missing: capacity, stage size,

PA/backline, load-in door width, typical pay, sound curfew, genres, and

address/city. Hover the badge to see exactly what's still missing.

Tips

  • Measure the load-in door once with a tape measure — bands with a full

drum kit and a Hammond will thank you.

  • If your pay varies a lot by night of the week, put the typical

weekend range and explain the rest in your house rules.

FAQ

Do bands see incomplete fields?

No — only filled fields show on the venue page. The badge is visible to

everyone, so a 3/8 badge quietly tells bands the listing is thin.

I run several venues. Do I fill this in per venue?

Yes — each venue row has its own profile.
