Band Shuffle

/shuffle — hit the dice, meet a band. Every shuffle lands on a random band that has at least one playable public track, with an audio player right on the page.

How to use it

  1. Open Shuffle in the nav bar.
  2. You get a random band card (genres, hometown, bio) plus a playable track.
  3. Like what you hear? Visit the band's page. Don't? Hit Shuffle again — every tap is a new random band.

How it picks

The shuffle only considers active bands with at least one public track that has an uploaded audio file. A band with no playable track never comes up — it keeps shuffling until it finds one with music you can actually hear.

Tips

  • Great for pre-gaming a night out: shuffle until something clicks, then check that band's upcoming shows.
  • Band admins: upload tracks in your band's music section and mark them public to become discoverable here.

FAQ

It says no bands have uploaded tracks. Then the shuffle has nothing to find — that's an honest empty state, not a bug. Check back once bands start uploading.

I keep getting the same band. It's random, and a small catalog repeats. More uploads = more variety.
