Tonight Near Me

/tonight answers one question with one tap: what's playing tonight, close to me?

How it works

  1. Tap Tonight in the nav bar.
  2. If you're logged in and set your location (a pin drop or city on your profile), the page shows tonight's shows within 25 miles, sorted by door time, with the distance to each venue.
  3. If you have a city but no pin, it matches shows in that city.
  4. If we don't know where you are, you'll be asked for a city once — we remember it (in your profile if you're logged in, otherwise in a cookie) so next time it's one tap.

Setting your location

  • Drop a pin on the map during signup (step 2), or update city on your profile/settings page.
  • Venues: add coordinates on your venue profile so GPS-verified check-ins and the 25-mile radius can find your room.

Tips

  • Shows are sorted by door time, so the earliest set is on top.
  • "Free-text" shows (no venue record attached) appear when their city matches yours.
  • Only confirmed shows (band and venue both approved, not cancelled) are listed.

FAQ

Why is a show I know about missing? It's more than 25 miles from your pin, it's still pending venue approval, or it's listed under a city name that doesn't match yours. Use the city box to search that city directly.

Why does it ask for my city every time? You're logged out and your browser isn't keeping cookies (private/incognito mode clears them). Log in and set a city on your profile instead.

Can I change the 25-mile radius? Not yet — it's fixed at 25 miles for now.
