Creator Marketplace

The Creator Marketplace (/market) is where musicians sell beats,

riffs, rhythms, loops, instrumentals, and full songs — direct to other

musicians, no middleman.

What's on the page

• Browse — filter by type, genre, BPM range, musical key, and max price.
• Previews — every listing has a streamable audio preview.
• Sell your music — upload your work and set your price.
• Seller dashboard — your listings, sales, and earnings.

How to sell

1. Log in and open /market/new (or "Sell your music" on /market).
2. Fill in the title, type (beat, riff, rhythm, loop, instrumental, song),

price, and license type.

1. Upload a preview (what buyers hear before buying) and the

full-quality file (delivered only after payment).

1. Optionally attach stems (multitrack ZIP), sheet music, and

guitar tabs — buyers love extras.

1. Add BPM, key, and genre so buyers can find your work.

License types

• Non-exclusive — you keep ownership and can sell the same track to

as many buyers as you want. Buyers can use it in their own recordings,

performances, videos, and commercial releases, but can't resell the

track itself.

• Exclusive — one buyer owns it outright. The listing is removed

after the sale and you transfer all rights.

Getting paid

• You keep 85% of every sale; MusicXen keeps 15%.
• Payments go through Stripe Checkout.
• Every purchase issues a license certificate the buyer can print —

proof of what they bought and what they're allowed to do with it.

Tips

• Price competitively: check what similar beats and loops sell for.
• A great preview sells the track — make the first 30 seconds count.
• Stems and tabs justify higher prices.
• Tag BPM and key accurately: producers search by them.

Troubleshooting / FAQ

• "Payments aren't set up yet" — the site operator hasn't added

Stripe keys. Listings still work; checkout is disabled until then.

• My upload failed — previews and full files must be MP3, OGG, WAV,

or M4A under 50 MB. Stems must be a ZIP under 200 MB.

• I bought a track but can't download — downloads appear on your

order page (/market/orders/ID) once payment confirms.
