Show tagging

Your photos and videos live on your profile. Tag one to a show and it also appears on the show's page, in the feeds of everyone who was there, and on the venue's page — one upload, everywhere it belongs.

How it works

  • Upload from your profile (or the Media section). Pick "Taken at" and choose the show.
  • Auto-suggest: if you have a ticket or marked "I was there" for a show near the photo's date, the form asks "Was this taken at [Show]?" — one click tags it.
  • Concert auto-detection: if your photo has GPS/time metadata (most phone cameras do), the site reads it after upload and asks "📸 This looks like it was taken at [Show]?" — tap Yes to tag, No to dismiss. It matches GPS against venue locations and timestamps against your tickets. No metadata, no guess — it just won't suggest anything.
  • Public by default: everyone can see public uploads — that's the point, one big shared view per show.
  • Privacy is respected: mark an upload friends-only and only your friends see it anywhere; private means just you, on your profile only.
  • "I was there": one tap logs your attendance. It's on the honor system — no ticket check required. Attendees see tagged media in their concert diary under "From the show".

Finding the best shots

  • Rate any photo or video 1–5 stars.
  • Top rated sort and the Best Of strip surface the highest-rated uploads automatically.
  • Slideshow mode plays through a show's photos full-screen.
  • Filter by photo/video, newest/oldest, or top rated.

Your albums

  • Make personal albums, or concert albums tied to a show.
  • On a concert album you can flip between Mine only and Everyone's to see everyone's tagged shots around yours.

For venues

  • Your venue page collects media tagged to your past shows — a living archive of everything that's happened on your stage.

Moderation

  • The venue and the band can remove items from their show's page. If something doesn't belong, it's gone. (Your profile copy is untouched — removal only un-tags it from the show.)

Manual tagging & bulk tagging

  • On any photo's detail page, use Tag to a show to pick a show from the searchable picker — even when auto-detection found nothing.
  • From your media page, select multiple photos and bulk-tag them to the same show at once.

Approval queue

  • Venues and show teams can turn on Require approval for a show. When it's on, fan uploads go into a Pending approval queue instead of appearing on the show page immediately.
  • Band members, venue staff, and show team members are trusted — their uploads skip the queue.
  • Anyone who marked "I was there" can also approve, along with venue staff and the show team.
  • You'll get a notification when your photo is approved or rejected. Rejected photos stay on your profile — they're just not shown on the show page.
  • Report inappropriate media with the Report button — reported items go to the approval queue for review.

Tagging people

  • On any photo, click Tag people, click on the photo to place the tag, then pick who it is. Tags show right on the photo like Facebook — hover or tap the marker to see who's who.
  • The tagged person gets notified. Every profile has a Tagged photos view showing all photos they're in.

Tag privacy

  • Control who can tag you in photos: Settings → Profile → Photo tags. Options: Everyone (default), Friends and friends of friends, Friends only, or Nobody.
  • You can always remove a tag of yourself from any photo, even one you didn't upload — look for "Remove tag of me" under the photo's tags.

Best Shot & highlights

  • The highest-rated photo per show gets a 🏆 Best Shot banner on the show page.
  • Highlights is an auto-generated full-screen slideshow of the top 10 rated photos — no manual step needed.

Photographer controls

  • On upload, choose whether to allow downloads of the original file.
  • Turn on watermark to burn your name into the photo before it's stored.

Tips

  • Uploading right after the show? Your tickets auto-suggest the show on the upload form.
  • Videos play inline — keep them under 100 MB.
