Show pages

Every show on MusicXen gets its own public page: `/shows/<id>`. It's the

fan-facing home for everything about one night — the lineup with set

times, the ticket link, prices, age info, who's going, photos, the

setlist, and reviews. You reach it from the Shows list (click any

date), the calendar, or a band's Calendar tab.

What's on the page

  • The basics: date, venue, doors time, flyer, and status

(Confirmed / Proposed / Cancelled).

  • Lineup with billed set times and set lengths (built with the

lineup builder).

  • Ticket link — a "Get tickets" button when the booker added one.

See ticket links & RSVP counts.

  • Prices — advance vs door, when set. See

advance vs door pricing.

  • Age info — All ages / 18+ / 21+ plus the venue's ID policy notes.

See age restrictions.

  • Who's going — RSVP totals plus friend overlap.

See who's going.

  • Photos — the post-show photo dump.

See post-show photo dump.

  • Setlist — posted after the show, linked to the event.

See show setlists.

  • Reviews — fans rate the sound, the crowd, and the organization.

See show reviews.

  • Printable poster — a one-click flyer for the fridge or the

venue door. See show poster.

Managing a show

Band admins, venue managers, and site admins see a Manage this show

section at the bottom of the page:

  • Save show details — door price, advance price, ticket link, age

restriction, doors time, ID notes.

  • Lineup builder link — reorder slots, set lengths, start times.
  • Cancel or postpone — with notifications to RSVPs and backup

bands. See cancelling and postponing.

The booking pipeline (proposals, holds, contracts, settlement) still

lives on the show's Booking page — the show page is the public

face, the booking page is the back office.

Tips

  • Fill in the lineup and prices as soon as they're confirmed: the show

page is what fans share, and a bare page gets fewer RSVPs.

  • The ticket link should point at the venue's or promoter's real

checkout. MusicXen never sells tickets itself — it just links out.

Troubleshooting

  • I can't see the Manage section. Only band admins, venue managers,

and site admins get it. Band members without the admin role see the

public page like everyone else.

  • A cancelled show still shows an old date. Cancelled shows stay

visible with a banner. If the show was postponed, the banner links

to the new date's page.
