Booking deposits

Some gigs need money down. Each booking tracks a deposit: the

amount, the due date, and whether it's been paid. A band admin or venue

manager sets it under Edit terms on the booking page.

  • Amount — entered in dollars, stored exactly.
  • Due date — when the deposit is expected.
  • Paid — a toggle; flip it when the money lands.

The booking page shows the deposit with a Paid / Not paid badge

so both sides can see the status at a glance, and the deposit appears on

the generated performance contract.

The deposit is informational — MusicXen doesn't move money. It exists so

the handshake ("$200 down by the 15th") is written down somewhere both

sides can see, instead of living in a text thread.
