Uploading tracks

Put your music on your band page so fans can listen right in the

browser — no downloads, no outside links. Tracks you upload also feed

the site-wide footer music player.

What you need

  • You must be logged in.
  • To upload to a band page, you must be a band admin (or the band's

creator).

  • To upload as a solo musician, you need a musician profile — create

one from your profile page first.

How to upload

  1. Open the band page and go to the Admin tab.
  2. Find the Music (footer player) section.
  3. Enter a song title, pick an audio file, and click Upload track.

Accepted formats: MP3, OGG, WAV, M4A — up to 50 MB per file.

Where your tracks appear

  • Band page — a Music section lists every public track with a

built-in player, its length, and its play count.

  • Footer player — public tracks can appear in the site-wide footer

music player for all visitors.

Play counts

Every time someone presses play, the track's play count goes up by one.

Use it to see which songs your fans actually listen to.

Tips

  • MP3 works in every browser; OGG and WAV are fine too, and M4A

(from iTunes/Apple Music exports) is accepted.

  • Short, descriptive titles ("Midnight Run — demo") get more plays

than "track_final_FINAL2.mp3".

  • Keep uploads to music you own or have the rights to share.

Troubleshooting

  • "Only MP3, OGG, WAV, or M4A audio is allowed" — your file's type

wasn't recognized. Re-export it as MP3 and try again.

  • "Track must be under 50 MB" — compress the file (a lower MP3

bitrate) or split long recordings.

  • "Create a musician profile first" — you're uploading without a

band; make a musician profile from your profile page, then retry.

  • No duration shown — the length is detected automatically when

possible; if it shows blank, the player still works fine.

FAQ

Can I delete a track?

Yes — on the band Admin tab, click Delete next to the track.

Deleting removes the file from storage too.

Can I hide a track without deleting it?

Tracks uploaded through the API can be marked private; the band Admin

form uploads are public by default. Delete and re-upload if you need

to change visibility.

Who can upload to my band?

Band admins (and the band creator). Regular members can't — ask an

admin to promote you if you need upload access.
