Lineup builder

The lineup builder lives on the show page under **Manage this show →

Lineup builder** (band admins and venue managers). Each slot is one

row: an act name, a billing slot, an optional billed start time, and

an optional set length.

Building the lineup

  1. Open the show page and click Lineup builder.
  2. Type the act name, pick a slot (Opener / Support /

Headliner), and optionally set the start time and **set length

in minutes**.

  1. Click Add to lineup. New slots go on last.
  2. Use the ▲▼ buttons to set the running order — top of the list

plays first.

Act names are free text, so you can bill acts that aren't on MusicXen

yet; the name shows on the show page either way.

What fans see

The show page lists the lineup in running order with

each slot's badge ("Headliner", "Support", "Opener") and its set line

("9:00 PM · 45 min"). The printed poster includes the

same list.

Tips

  • Post set times as soon as the venue confirms them — "doors at 7,

first band at 8" is the most-asked question at every show.

  • Set lengths are expectations, not contracts; the page shows them as

billed.

Troubleshooting

  • I can't open the lineup builder. It's managers-only (band

admins, venue managers, site admins).

  • The order looks wrong on the show page. The show page sorts by

the builder's order (the ▲▼ buttons), not by start time — fix the

order in the builder.
