Recording studios

Find a studio by gear, engineers, and honest pricing — tour the room before you book.

Finding a studio

Open Studios in the nav. Search by studio name, gear, or engineer; filter by hourly or per-project pricing.

Studio profiles

Each profile carries:

  • Gear list — console, mics, outboard, instruments on hand
  • Room photos — control room, live room, load-in, whatever the studio uploads
  • Engineer credits — who engineers there and what they've done
  • Pricing — whichever mode the studio picked: an hourly rate or a flat per-project price (the toggle is theirs to set in Studio profile settings)

30-minute tour slots

Sample before booking: studios publish 30-minute tour slots. Open a studio's page, pick an open slot, and hit Book tour. The studio gets a notification. Cancel any time with Cancel — the slot goes back on the board. Studios manage slots (add, delete, free up a booked one) from Studio profile settings; booked slots can't be deleted outright, only freed.

Listing your studio

Go to `/settings/studio`: studio name, gear list, engineer credits, and the hourly vs per-project pricing toggle (fill in the matching price field). Upload room photos and publish tour slots below the form.

FAQ

Does a tour slot hold the studio for a session? No — it's a 30-minute look-around, not a booking hold.

Does MusicXen take a cut of studio bookings? No — payment is between you and the studio, off-platform.

I booked the wrong slot? Hit Cancel on the studio page and rebook.
