Gear list

Your gear list is a catalog of the equipment you own, grouped by category:

instruments, PA / sound, transport, and other. It shows on your profile, and —

more importantly — the Musicians directory can filter by it.

How to add gear

  1. Go to Edit profile and scroll to Gear list.
  2. Type the item name (e.g. "Fender Twin Reverb"), pick a category, and add

optional details (wattage, year, condition).

  1. Click Add. Repeat for everything worth mentioning.

To remove an item, click Remove next to it.

Tips

  • Bookers filter on PA and transport. A musician with a full PA and a van

is a venue's dream — list those items and you'll show up in more searches.

  • Details help: "QSC K12.2 (pair), 2000W, 2019" says more than "speakers".
  • Be honest. Claiming gear you don't own is a fast way to burn a gig.

Troubleshooting / FAQ

  • I'm not in the "Has PA" directory filter. The filter matches the PA /

sound category exactly — make sure the item is in the right category.

  • Can I mark gear as for-sale? Not yet. The gear list is "what I own",

not a classifieds page.

  • How many items can I add? There's no hard limit, but a tight,

gig-relevant list reads better than an inventory of every cable you own.

  • I sold something. Remove it from the list — old gear in your profile

is worse than no gear.
