Demo reel

Your demo reel is a short audio clip pinned near the top of your profile so

visitors hear your playing in one click. It auto-plays muted when someone

opens your profile, with a hint to click the volume.

How to add one

  1. Go to Edit profile (✏️ Edit profile link on your own profile).
  2. Under "30-second demo reel", click Choose file and pick an MP3, WAV,

or OGG file (12MB max).

  1. Click Upload reel. It plays from your profile immediately.

To remove it, click Remove reel in the same section.

Tips

  • Keep it to about 30 seconds — one strong verse and chorus beats a whole set.
  • Pick a clip that starts strong. Autoplay is muted, but people unmute the

good ones.

  • WAV files are big; an MP3 at 128–192 kbps sounds fine and uploads faster.

Troubleshooting / FAQ

  • "Unsupported file type." Only MP3, WAV, and OGG are accepted. If your

file has a different extension, convert it first.

  • "File is too large." The limit is 12MB. Trim the clip or export a

lower-bitrate MP3.

  • My reel plays but there's no sound. It starts muted on purpose (nobody

likes a surprise). Click the speaker icon on the player to unmute.

  • I uploaded a new reel but the old one plays. Browsers cache audio —

refresh the page, or wait a minute and try again.
