Recurring unavailability

Day-job shifts, classes, standing commitments — the stuff that repeats every week. Put it here once and every band you play in sees it in clash detection.

How to add a block

  1. Open Unavailability in the nav (or `/my/unavailability`).
  2. Pick the day of week, the from/to times, and a label ("Day job", "Night class").
  3. Save. It repeats every week until you delete it.

Your blocks appear on each of your bands' Free Dates calendars and trigger clash warnings when anyone books over them.

Tips

  • Label blocks clearly — your bandmates see the label in clash warnings.
  • End time is optional; leave it blank for "unavailable from 5pm on".
  • Shift changed? Delete the old block and add the new one — there's no edit, on purpose, so the history stays simple.

Troubleshooting

My band still booked over my shift. Clash detection warns, it doesn't block — the booker may have clicked through. Talk to them; the warning did its job.

I need a one-off conflict, not weekly. Don't use this page — put one-off dates on the band's calendar as holds or tour ranges instead.

The time looks wrong. Times are stored as plain clock times (no timezone). If you travel, they're still your home-town hours.
