Push notifications

Get notified on your phone or computer when something happens on

MusicXen — a booking offer, a photo tag, an invite approval, and more.

Turning them on

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Under Push notifications, click Enable push notifications.
  3. Your browser will ask for permission — click Allow.
  4. Done. This device is now registered.

You can enable push on multiple devices (phone, laptop, tablet) — each

one registers separately.

Turning them off

  • For one device: Settings → Push notifications → Disable.
  • For all devices: uncheck push in Settings (the `push_enabled`

setting) — no device will get pushes until you turn it back on.

  • Browser-level: you can also revoke the permission in your

browser's site settings at any time.

What you'll get

Every in-app notification can also arrive as a push: booking updates,

backup-band call-outs, media approvals, tags, invite activity, and

venue verification. Tapping a push takes you straight to the relevant

page.

Troubleshooting

  • Not receiving pushes? Check that push is enabled in Settings AND

that your browser still has permission for musicxen.com (browser site

settings).

  • Old device still getting pushes? Log out on that device — logout

unregisters its push token.
