Profile completeness

Profile completeness is a simple percentage on your own profile page showing

how much of your profile is filled in. Under it, "next steps" list exactly

what's missing, each with a link to the right page to fix it.

How it works

The score checks ten things: your display name, location, a photo, your bio,

instruments, genres, your demo reel, your video intro, your gear list, and

your availability. Each one you fill in bumps the score up. Nothing else

moves it — no mystery math, no engagement tricks.

How to get to 100%

  1. Go to your profile and read the "next steps" list.
  2. Click each missing item — the link takes you straight to the right editor.
  3. Save, come back, watch the number climb.

The home page also shows a smaller "Finish setting up" checklist with the

most important missing pieces, so you don't have to visit your profile to see

what's left.

Tips

  • You don't need 100% to use the site. The meter is a nudge, not a grade.
  • Bookers filter musicians on PA and transport gear, and on availability —

those three items earn you the most real-world visibility.

  • Your friends can also see your completeness meter? No — only you see it,

on your own profile.

Troubleshooting / FAQ

  • My score went up but a step still shows. Some items are counted per

section (e.g. "add a photo" clears only when a photo album has a picture).

Refresh the page after saving.

  • I filled everything and it's still not 100%. The demo reel and video

intro are optional uploads — skip them and the score tops out just under

100%. That's by design; nobody should be forced to post video.

  • Can I hide the meter? It's only visible to you. Nobody else sees your

score or your next-steps list.
