Confirm your band or venue

Someone who knows you can put you on a band's roster, or list you as a

venue's owner, before you ever join MusicXen. When you sign up with

the email or phone number they used — or open the invite link they

were sent — MusicXen spots the match and asks you to confirm it.

Nothing is ever claimed in your name without you saying so.

What you'll see

If the match is spotted while you're signing up, the **Review

step** (the last one) shows a "We found you in our system" section

and your answers apply the moment your account is created. Anything

you skip — and anything that turns up later — waits on the

Confirm your bands & venues page, linked from a banner on your

own profile. Each waiting link shows who added you and where:

  • A band seat — the band's name and the name they put on the

roster. Confirm with Yes, that's me, and fill in **what you

play in the band** if that's missing (or correct it). That becomes

your role on the band's roster.

  • A venue — the venue's name and who listed you as its owner.

Confirm with Yes, that's my venue, and fill in any details

that are missing: the venue's phone, street address, city, state,

and ZIP. Anything already on file is shown and never overwritten.

Not you?

Choose Not me / Not my venue and that link stops being

offered to you. The band's roster note or the unclaimed venue stays

exactly as the person who added it left it — you can always ask them

to fix the contact and send a fresh invite.

Doing it later

Do this later skips the page — your links wait patiently. A

banner on your own profile links back to the confirm page until

everything is resolved.
