Invite codes

MusicXen is currently invite-only. Everyone needs an invite code to

sign up — all roles, including fans.

Getting an invite code

  • From a member: any MusicXen member can generate up to 5 personal

invite codes and share them with friends.

  • From a venue: venues have their own shareable invite code. If a

band contacts a venue about booking, the venue can hand them its code.

  • Request one: no code and no contacts yet? Fill out the form at

/invite-request — tell us your name, email, what you do, and why

you want to join. We review requests and send codes to approved folks.

Signing up with a code

  1. Go to /signup (or open a share link like `/signup?invite=MX-7X2P`

— the code fills in automatically).

  1. Pick your role(s) and complete the signup steps.
  2. Enter your invite code when asked (step 3, "Position Types").
  3. Done — the code is redeemed and your account is created.

A code can have a usage limit or an expiry date. If yours doesn't work,

check it with whoever shared it, or request a new one.

Sharing your codes

Open /invites (linked from Settings as "My Invite Codes") to see

your codes, how many times each has been used, and copy share links.

For venues

Your venue gets its own invite code automatically when the venue is

created. Find it on /invites under "Your venue codes" and share it

with bands who want to book your room.

For admins

  • /admin/invites — generate single or bulk codes, see usage, enable/disable.
  • /admin/invite-requests — review the waitlist. Filter by status,

role, location, or date; approve (auto-generates a code to share) or

deny, individually or in bulk.
