Sound curfew & noise ordinance

Nothing ruins a night like the plug getting pulled mid-encore. Venues

can publish their sound curfew ("music ends 11:00 PM") and any **dB

noise limit** on their profile. Bands see the policy:

  • on the venue page under Booker details, and
  • right on the slot booking form before they confirm — so there's

no day-of surprise.

Setting your curfew

  1. Open Edit venue profile on your venue page.
  2. Under Stage & sound, enter the curfew (e.g. `11:00 PM`) and the

noise limit in dB (`0` = no stated limit).

  1. Save venue profile.

Tips

  • If the curfew differs for weeknights vs weekends, put the strictest

one in the field and spell out the rest in your house rules — bands

must agree to those before booking.

  • A dB limit without a curfew (or vice versa) is fine; each field is

independent.

FAQ

**The city has a noise ordinance but the venue doesn't enforce a

curfew. What do I enter?**

Enter the ordinance (e.g. "10:00 PM" per city code) in the curfew

field — it's the time music has to end, whatever the reason.

Does the site enforce the curfew on bookings?

No — it informs. The venue and band still agree the schedule in the

booking conversation.
