- Picking genres is new: search by name, or browse the family cards — every family has its own icon — and drill down as deep as you like (Metal → Black Metal → Symphonic Black Metal). Families, sub-genres, and the deepest picks all count, and you can choose as many as you want.
- Years playing now takes part-years: 1.5 is a year and a half, 0.5 is six months. We date-stamp what you enter and count it forward automatically, so your experience stays right as time passes.
- Each instrument you pick now needs its years and skill filled in before you can continue — no more half-finished instruments. The Musician section has its own help button (top right) explaining it all.
- Instrument touch-ups: it's 12 String Guitar again (the card wraps to fit), and Piano and Keyboard swapped groups — Keyboard is a core Band Instrument, Piano sits in More Band Instruments.
