What's new in v0.87.0
2026-10-14 · Two kinds of delete, and a Trash folder
- Every message now has two delete choices: delete it for everyone (the whole thread sees it was deleted), or delete it just for you — it disappears from your view only, and everyone else keeps seeing it normally.
- Deleted messages land in your personal Trash, linked from the Messages page. Only you can see your Trash — it shows which conversation each message came from and how many days are left.
- Trash empties itself after 30 days, permanently erasing the message text and any attached files, or you can empty it yourself anytime. One exception: a message someone reported keeps its text, held privately as evidence for the moderation team.
- Deleting just for you is forever — even after the Trash entry is gone, that message never shows in your thread, search, exports, or unread counts again.
