2026-10-14 · Name your group chats — and manage who's in them
- Group chats can have a name now. Anyone in the group can set it, change it, or clear it from the conversation settings, and the change leaves a note in the chat.
- The settings panel lists everyone in the group. Remove someone who should not be there — they lose access right away, though their past messages stay in the history.
- You can also leave a group yourself from the same panel. If a group shrinks to two people, it turns back into a normal one-to-one chat.
