- Global search: one box in the nav searches people, bands, venues, shows, classifieds, instructors, studios, and artists, grouped by type.
- “Tonight near me”: one tap shows tonight's shows within 25 miles of you, sorted by door time. It remembers your city.
- Genre explorer: every genre claimed by a band, with bands, upcoming shows, booking venues, and matching instructors.
- New-to-town mode surfaces jam nights, open mics, instructors, and easy first-gig wanted ads.
- Band shuffle always lands on a band with a playable track; trending ranks shows by RSVP velocity (formula shown on the page).
- “Similar to” suggestions on every band and venue page, and city pages (/city/…) with tonight's shows, bands, venues, and instructors.
