- If someone put you on their band's roster or listed you as a venue's owner before you joined, MusicXen now spots it at signup and asks YOU to confirm — nothing is claimed in your name automatically anymore.
- Confirming takes seconds: band members say what they play in the band, and venue owners fill in any missing venue details (phone, address, city, state, ZIP). Not you? One tap declines it. Links you skip wait on your profile until you're ready.
- The genre picker also gained a small hint under its search box — tap a box to browse, or type to search — so both ways of picking are obvious.
