Keyboard shortcuts

MusicXen doesn't define custom keyboard shortcuts — everything is designed to work with a mouse or touch, and we didn't want to invent keys you'd have to memorize. Your browser's built-in shortcuts all work normally:

Useful everywhere

• Tab / Shift+Tab — move between links, buttons, and form fields.
• Enter — activates the focused link or button; submits a form when you're in a text field.
• Esc — closes popups and dialogs.
• Ctrl+F (Cmd+F on Mac) — find text on the page. Handy on long pages like the Help Center.
• Ctrl+Shift+R (Cmd+Shift+R) — hard refresh, for when a theme change or a new release looks “stuck”.

In forms

• Arrow keys — move through dropdown options and the instrument/genre pickers.
• Space — toggles a focused checkbox (like the signup “I'm not a robot” check).

If enough people ask for real shortcuts (e.g. quick keys for the calendar or inbox), they'll be listed here when they ship.
